We just got back from the Mid-Am show in Chicago, where we met the plant breeder, Tim Wood. He created Bloomerang Purple Lilac. A rebloomer for all you lilac fans, it flowers in the spring and then again in late summer or fall. We have this new plant coming in as well as Invincibelle Spirit - A pink Hydrangea - hardy to zone 3 as well as the improved Annabelle - with stronger stems and full blooms.
Tip: now is a great time to prune oak and pine trees. Since most they are dormant and the insect and disease factor are low as long as the temperatures are under 50F.
Below is a great reference for your pruning techniques: (copy link and paste in browser)

We will have seeds, soil and packs to start them for your garden. We reopen on March 10th - but if the seeds are in and you want to start earlier - give me a shout at the gardens. Lots to choose from heirloom and organic to the great varieties you've come to love. Check out our new seed selection.
