Wednesday is Service Learning Day in New Richmond. High schoolers will descend on the community doing good works and learning tasks and jobs that need to be done in a community (this is my definition, the school has a formal one) Anyway, the Master Gardeners have been preparing for the 50 kids to help mulch the tomato and pepper beds. Plant the carrots, onions, cabbage, broccoli, and other plants that can take the cold.
So if you want to see gardeners in action, stop by 9 to noon on the 14th.
After the bus leaves, we are having a picnic and resting!
